Gratuitous tank battles is a unique hybrid of sim/management/tower defense and RTS. You can play a traditional tower defense role, or as the attacker, and the game features both traditional scripted enemies as well as entirely adaptive AI opponents in both roles. You can save out your attack to play against as defense, and the games units (both as attacker and defender) and entirely customizable by the player. An integrated map editor, combined with online challenge system and map-sharing means an infinite supply of battlefields.
